Architects Ingrid Zarnoveanu and Vlad Bija presented the T39 project, part of the largest adaptive reuse initiative in Brasov, stemming from the former Tractorul industrial platform.
The T39 industrial hall holds significant symbolic value for the people of Brasov, being part of an industrial complex with over a century of history, evolving from aircraft production to tractor manufacturing during the communist era.
The transformation spans more than 10,000 square meters, utilizing sustainable technologies. The project blends historical heritage with modern solutions, preserving original elements while adding a new façade that reflects the site's historical authenticity.
T39 aligns with principles of sustainability and cost optimization, standing as a model of sustainable development.
